Joutsijarvi

Joutsijärvi is 1h away from Rauma. The fastest and easiest way is :

- road 8 to Pori

- road 2 direction Helsinki for few kilometers

- road 11 direction Tampere for 25 kms

- road 257 direction Lavia just after Koski for 2 kms

- turn left direction Joutsijärvi (small black panel)

- you can park your car behind the small "info" cabin

I think 7h are needed to complete the full trek around Joutsijärvi.

But during winter time the pathway towards the 2 islands in the west part is not...easy. Small boats are available but not usable due to the ice. I don't recommend to try to cross the lake on the frozen water.

One of the best solution to fully enjoy this area is to spend a whole week-end around this lake and to split the trek in 2 walking days and stay one night in your own tent in north area.
